"Damian Ruck, chief researcher at Advai, an AI testing company, said: “Gemini may be the first multi-modal generative model genuinely competitive with OpenAI’s offerings.” However he cautioned that Gemini beat GPT-4 only marginally on some benchmarks and “long-term user experience will be the true test of Gemini’s quality”."
